Visual Communications Design

Emerging technologies and expertise to support a school assessed task in Visual Communication Design.

Students will utilise expertise and emerging technologies in the Tech school to prototype, reiterate and present a design solution for a communication need. 

Teachers may book in for a class visit for up to a day and/or inform students of scheduled times the Casey Tech School will be available to support students individual VCE needs.

Duration: 1 day as a class or at scheduled times for individual students to attend. 

Capacity: 24 students

Key skills and knowledge in support of producing a design solution:

  • select suitable presentation formats that meet communication needs defined in the brief
  • select and apply a range of methods, media and materials to deliver distinct design solutions
  • select and apply design elements and principles to address distinct communication needs
