- Develop skills in microscopy to view prepared, dry and wet mount slides
- Use Adobe Photoshop to edit selected images to be pressed onto a fabric product
- Use the dye sublimation printer and heat press to produce a chosen artefact
Interdisciplinary art and microscopy.
Students will use high resolution microscopes and cameras to photograph different materials using a variety of microscopic techniques. The images can then be enhanced using photo editing software and incorporated into a virtual gallery for students to explore. A dye sublimation printer and heat press will then be used to transfer their images onto fabric. This program is developed in collaboration with National Gallery Victoria.
